About myself...I am born on the 19th of May 1963.
Finishing my CIOS education, I started as a tennis trainer for several tennis clubs. After gaining 7 years of experience with smaller clubs I became head trainer at TC Venlo in 1995. Here I trained young, talented players between 10 and 18 years old. In 1998 I started my own tennis programme. In 2003 I was asked to train the Nigerian Davis Cup Team. During my career I obtained many diplomas and always tried to grow as much as possible. For example: Tennis licence A-B, KNLTB C, ART 1, ART 2, fitness training, IAPT special tennis, Mind Set, etc. |
Besides that I followed many courses in wheelchair tennis and trained Sharon Walraven for 5 years both in tennis as in physical training. This resulted eventually in a Gold Medal at the Paralympics in Beijing (2008).
From then on I've been specialising more in wheelchair sports. This with all its special aspects (mobility, fitness, tennis techniques). |
